Which meeting platforms work with Meetlens?
Meetlens supports browser-based meetings on Google Meet, Zoom Web, Microsoft Teams Web, and Webex. Platform support refers to calls running in a supported Chrome tab.
Does Meetlens work with Zoom and Teams desktop apps?
No. The Chrome extension captures active browser-tab audio and cannot capture native desktop applications. Open Zoom or Microsoft Teams in their web clients, or import an existing supported recording afterward.
Does Meetlens add a bot to meetings?
No. You start the Chrome extension yourself, and Meetlens captures the active meeting tab without joining the participant list.
Does Meetlens create a live transcript?
No. Meetlens processes the recording after you stop capture. The transcript, speaker labels, AI notes, report, and timeline become available in the Meetlens workspace after processing.
Can I upload recordings from other meeting platforms?
Yes. If you already have a supported MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, WebM, or MP4 recording, use recording import even when that platform is not listed for live browser capture.
What does Meetlens record from a meeting tab?
Meetlens records audio from the active supported meeting tab and can include your microphone when you enable it. It does not record video, camera, or screen pixels.
