Meetlens is a Microsoft Teams transcription and note-taking tool for Teams meetings running in Chrome. The extension records the active Teams Web tab after you start it. Once the call ends, Meetlens processes the recording into a separate workspace result; it does not use the native Teams recording location.

AI note taker for Microsoft Teams Web
Use the Teams meeting in Chrome rather than the installed Teams application. If your organization's setup does not allow a supported browser session or extension, Meetlens tab capture is not an alternative way around that restriction.
Start Meetlens from the Teams Web tab and include the microphone if needed. After you stop recording, the transcript, notes, and report appear in the Meetlens workspace following upload and processing.
These outputs are separate from native Teams recording and transcription storage. For an existing recording you are authorized to use, upload a supported file to Meetlens. The extension does not retrieve private Teams, OneDrive, or SharePoint files automatically.

Where is the Meetlens Teams recording located?
Meetlens creates the completed meeting in your Meetlens workspace. It does not save into the native Teams, OneDrive, or SharePoint recording locations.
Does Meetlens work with the Teams desktop app?
No. The current extension captures Teams Web tab audio in Chrome. For a meeting held in the native desktop app, import a supported recording file afterward.
Does Meetlens join my Microsoft Teams meeting as a bot?
No. Meetlens captures audio from the active Teams Web tab after you start the Chrome extension, so it does not appear as another participant.
Does Meetlens record Microsoft Teams video or my screen?
No. Meetlens records meeting-tab audio and, if you enable it, your microphone. It does not capture camera video or screen pixels.
When is the Microsoft Teams transcript ready?
Processing starts after you stop recording. Meetlens uploads the audio and prepares the transcript, speaker labels, AI notes, selected report, and timeline in your workspace.
Is Meetlens free for Microsoft Teams?
The Chrome extension is free to install. The current Free plan includes 180 processing minutes per month and up to 60 minutes per recording, with no credit card required.
Can I import an existing Microsoft Teams recording?
Yes. Meetlens accepts supported audio and video files through recording import, including MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, WebM, and MP4, subject to your plan limits.
