Meetlens is a post-call Webex transcription and AI note-taking tool for supported calls running in Chrome. It records the active meeting tab after you start the extension, without adding a Meetlens participant. The transcript becomes available after capture and processing finish.

Webex transcription without native Webex recording
Open a supported Webex browser meeting in Chrome before starting Meetlens. A Webex desktop call is outside Chrome tab capture; use a supported saved recording for import if browser capture is unavailable.
This is still an audio recording — it simply does not use Webex's own recorder. Meetlens captures the active tab after you start it, with an optional microphone track, and transcribes that audio once you stop.
Review the Webex transcript in Meetlens and check important names, numbers, and commitments against the recording. This workflow does not provide a live Webex transcript or bypass recording permission requirements.

Can Meetlens transcribe a Webex meeting?
Yes, for a supported Webex meeting running in Chrome. Start recording from the extension and review the transcript after the audio has uploaded and processed.
Can Meetlens create a Webex transcript without native Webex recording?
Meetlens uses its own active-tab audio capture rather than the native Webex recording workflow. It still requires you to start the extension and follow applicable participant-notice and consent rules.
Can I transcribe an existing Webex recording?
Yes. Upload a supported audio or video file through Meetlens recording import. The imported file uses the same processing allowance as browser-captured meetings.
Does Meetlens join my Webex meeting as a bot?
No. Meetlens captures audio from the active Webex Web tab after you start the Chrome extension, so it does not appear as another participant.
Does Meetlens record Webex video or my screen?
No. Meetlens records meeting-tab audio and, if you enable it, your microphone. It does not capture camera video or screen pixels.
When is the Webex transcript ready?
Processing starts after you stop recording. Meetlens uploads the audio and prepares the transcript, speaker labels, AI notes, selected report, and timeline in your workspace.
Is Meetlens free for Webex?
The Chrome extension is free to install. The current Free plan includes 180 processing minutes per month and up to 60 minutes per recording, with no credit card required.
Can I import an existing Webex recording?
Yes. Meetlens accepts supported audio and video files through recording import, including MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, WebM, and MP4, subject to your plan limits.
